The Advisory Committee of Liberty City Youth (TACOLCY) is a non-profit organization located on a 3.5 acre City of Miami Park in the heart of Liberty City. It is a safe haven for children, youth, young adults, families and mentors to come together in a variety of activities to strengthen the bonds and skills that produce healthy, educated, confident and compassionate leaders of tomorrow.

Employment Opening Available

The Belafonte-TACOLCY Center, Inc. has an IMMEDIATE job opening for CDF - Freedom School After School Program. This position is for a Servant Leader Intern (SLI). The qualifications and required minimum education and experience includes: College Student or recent graduate; experience working with youth ages 5-18 preferred but not required. Applicants must be familiar with implementation of the Freedom School curriculum, program activities (literacy, fitness, homework assistance, enrichment, social skills, free play); monitors, chaperones, engage youth; conduct ORF & PACER Assessments. The hours of work:  2 pm to 6 pm and 8 am to 4 pm during recess and teacher planning days.
